I mounted mine right below the emergency brake pedal underneath the truck. It is mounted to the plastic inner fender and has lived there for 3 years with no problems. It is away from the heat of the engine ans it looks to stay pretty dry up there.

I have 2 Power Sonic PS12750 batteries in my TC.

I have seen them go for $150 before, pretty good for a 75 amp/hr AGM.
I would liked to have gotten bigger ones but there were free from work because a BIG UPS blew up - can't complain.
